Topic: TV Guide - 40K Thursday Night Fight - 5th August 2010 7pm

The next installment of the regular Thursday night fight will be on 5th August.  There are scores to settle, drinks to be bought, and rules to be forgotten.

Will Brian 'Old Mek' Shore remember to use his deffroller?  Will Chris 'King Of Cheese' Swaine be fielding a loyalist army?  Will Ross 'Toothless Daemon' Mason lose a game?  Will Andy 'I'm forgetful, me' Comery remember to turn up?  The answers to all this and more will be told in the hallowed halls of Maelstrom's Eye of the Storm.  There is also the invitation for players, new and old, to join the fray.  Who will accept?  Who will yield?

Tune in to find out!

Subtitles not available, but Waaaaaaaaaaghhhh is incredibly easy to understand via lip reading.

David, I got your email about the Orkpocalypse. Fancy starting a thread about it here to gauge interest? Myself and my little group would likely be interested however we are in the middle of a mini-league atm - could be a while before we are free.

Will do Dan.  We're going to iron out some details then we'll put up a post on here.  There's really no rush - we can do this September/October time or later in the year.

We've been playing 1500 points recently (in preparation for the UK Team Challenge) but I'm sure we could accommodate anything smaller or larger. Most of us have been playing less than a year (and like you only recently got back into it) so I wouldn't worry about not being quite up to speed with the 5th Edition ruleset.  Let us know if you're coming and we'll make sure you have a good game.

7pm on a Thursday.  I can normally do a game on a Tuesday night as well so long as you give me 24 hours notice.

Re: TV Guide - 40K Thursday Night Fight - 5th August 2010 7pm

Turning into an Ork hey that could be a Kodak moment.

Marines i could do with some more marines helmets with skulls still inside for my World Eater army, Skulls for my lord Khorne!

I think i would like a game against a green horde see how many i could kill in combat before i got overwhelmed with numbers.

Im definately up for that i'll have to break out the Berzerker horde and see how it fairs against an Ork horde. But first i have some loyalist space marines to kill lol.

1500 is usually good but I'm sure we can accommodate 1750.
