Re: The Winners!

I'm ultra staggered that we managed 19th so well done team.

Re: The Winners!

Who won the best team name?

Who won the most drunk person on Saturday night?

Who won the loudest shouter on Saturday Night?

These are more important results and we need to know!

Number 2) and 3) there must surely have been you John - no contest! wink

Re: The Winners!

Most drunk definitely goes to Mr Snape, with special mention going to martyn. But I think I'm in with a shout (forgive the pun) for the loudest person that weekend smile

Re: The Winners!

Gary,

any chance you could put up the full results?

Re: The Winners!

I take full credit big_smile

I like how the belgians finished first and last.

When the results go up can they post single players scores in order too? big_smile

Re: The Winners!

I think one of sprocket summed it up nicely by describing their countrymen as the "Belgian Bookends" smile

Re: The Winners!

Well seeing these results you can see that the english WM/Hordes players are just avarage. tongue

Belgians suck or own, but never avarage (words of our captain Piet)

Re: The Winners!

Jasper, I believe I played you in the last round, got killed alot on your feat turn then turned on MY feat turn big_smile

Carnage!

Re: The Winners!

I'll put the full results up today guys.

Carnage!

Yea that's true, I really loved that battle and it will be truely the last time I underestimate those little buggers.
Next year let's have a grudge match, just you and me so that the carnage can be returnd Khador stile smile

Re: The Winners!

I'll have played more than 5 games before our game this time though!

The battle was excellent, be it 1,000,000,000 spray attacks, pyg burrowers killing great bears in one turn, Mauler going crazy on my feat turn.

Best game of the weekend!

Game on for 2011!

Gary, is there any chance of a quick explanation of how the Best in Faction was determined, as I can't find any reference to it in the rules pack?

Also, will the full results indicate caster/faction?

I think it went on You Team position first, then the highest player in each faction.

I don't think it was done on indivudule player scores.

So Top Cygnar play might be in a Team who came 1st, but the player only scored 12k. Where another Cygnar player might be a Team who came 10th, but scored 20k - who had the top score.

I think it was an extra prize given out, hence why not in the rules pack.

I could be wrong.

Re: The Winners!

...and the special award for random silliness went to Martyn Jenkins

Re: The Winners!

IMO though and corny as it may sound, the biggest winner of all was the UK Whoremachine community. 104 players came together from various countries in Europe, with fully painted armies and a determination to have a great, fun filled weekend. New friendships were forged and old friendships strengthened. Rivalries, grudges, beers, mocking, bbq and late nights all made for an absolutely fantastic weekend.

From all of us here at Maelstrom, a big cheer for the community. Next year will be even better and we will announce the date shortly.

Re: The Winners!

Cheers for that Gary, but any chance of the full listings?

Phew! Well wonky eyed now. I'll straighten it all up when I can....(be bothered! lol!!)

As you can see Vish was actually the top General not Aaron. There was a data input error so these two guys have sorted this out amicably between themselves and the trophy is winging it's way across London so Vish can proudly show his mum!

Re: The Winners!

Why did Tom Birne get best Trollblood general...? :s
